Chartering in ClearVoyage VMS
The ClearVoyage estimator is built to be fast and easy to use, so you can run as many calculations as you need. It’s also as detailed as possible, so all fields are included for accurate estimation. It’s easy to save the estimate for later, copy it or compare it to other calculations. This means that the estimate is ideal for both running quick calculations and more detailed estimates leading to a voyage
Easily control every parameter of the estimate, including routes, drafts, speeds, vessels and cargos. You can also choose your default settings such as “sea margin” - so new estimates will be consistent and faster to create. Parcelling is also possible through the ClearVoyage voyage management system. Run estimates for multiple parcels more easily - by adding or removing cargos from an estimate with a single click.
The ClearVoyage estimator also calculates expected EU ETS costs - a critical component for any EU trading from 2024 onwards. You can see both the summary of expected EUA costs but also a breakdown of how those numbers are calculated
Once an estimate is ready to be fixed, contracts and voyages can be created directly from the estimate, and all details flow automatically through to the Operations team. Commercial reporting shows you your cargo and vessel contracts, profitability and risk.
